General Terms and Conditions of Camping Resort Zugspitze GmbH and Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze GmbH
- Conclusion of the contract
By registering, you are making a binding offer to the landlord to conclude a rental agreement. This can be done in writing, verbally, by telephone, or via electronic data transmission. The contract becomes binding for the campsite when it has been confirmed in writing by Camping Resort Zugspitze GmbH/Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze GmbH. If the content of the booking confirmation differs from the content of the registration, we are bound to this new offer for 10 days. The contract is concluded on the basis of this new offer if you confirm your acceptance within this period. If registration takes place upon arrival, the contract becomes binding when Camping Resort Zugspitze GmbH/Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze GmbH has assigned you a pitch at the Grainau campsite and your details have been recorded at reception. Please always present your identity card or passport at reception upon arrival.
- Prices, payment, minimum stay and cancellation
Please refer to our current price list for applicable fees. These fees are considered fixed and are due on the day of departure. To guarantee your booking, a deposit of EUR 50 per pitch, EUR 80 per barrel, and EUR 200 per mountain hut is due within one week of receiving the booking confirmation.
The following flat fees will be charged for cancellations of pitches/sleeping barrels :
Cancellation is free of charge up to 16 days before the start of the contract.
The reservation fee is forfeited if the cancellation occurs between 15 and 5 days before the start of the contract.
The full fee is due 4 days before the start of the contract, as per the booking confirmation.
The following flat fees will be charged for cancellations of mountain cabins/treehouses :
Cancellation is free of charge up to 21 days before the start of the contract.
The reservation fee is forfeited if the cancellation occurs 20 to 14 days before the start of the contract.
The full fee is due 13 days before the start of the contract, as per the booking confirmation.
If the pitch/sleeping barrel/mountain cabin/treehouse is unoccupied one day after the agreed start date at 08:00 a.m., and no arrangements have been made for a later arrival, the campsite management may allocate the pitch/sleeping barrel/mountain cabin/treehouse to another party. Should a booked pitch/sleeping barrel/mountain cabin/treehouse not be available on time due to unforeseen circumstances, the renter grants a grace period until 18:00 p.m. If the pitch/sleeping barrel/mountain cabin/treehouse is still unavailable within this grace period, we, as the landlord, will provide a replacement pitch of at least the same category. If you are not satisfied with this replacement, you have the option of cancelling free of charge.
Camping discounts: Please inform us in advance or present your membership card upon arrival if you wish to claim a discount. Unfortunately, retroactive discounts are not possible.
Package deals and special offers: No discounts are granted on package deals and special offers. Subsequent changes from a package deal to a different price category, or vice versa, are not possible. In the event of early departure, the full amount of the package deal used will still be charged.
Special arrangements for reservations during the festival season:
During the peak season, a minimum stay of 4 nights (pitches and barrels) or 7 nights (mountain huts/treehouses) applies. A deposit equal to the first 4 nights is due upon receipt of the booking confirmation. If this deposit is not paid, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the booking. In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following flat fees will apply:

- Early departure Pitch/Sleeping Barrel
In case of early departure, in addition to the fees already incurred for the actual period of use of the pitch, an additional daily fee is due. A pitch that becomes available due to early departure may be used and reassigned by the campsite management.
- Early departure Mountain cabin/treehouse
In case of early departure, the full fee as stated in the booking confirmation is due. A mountain cabin/treehouse that becomes vacant due to early departure may be used and reassigned by the campsite management.
- Extension of stay
If you wish to extend your stay beyond the agreed-upon time, please inform reception at least two days in advance. If an extension is possible, we will gladly accommodate your request and extend the contract accordingly.
- Campsite regulations
The tenant and their companions must comply with the posted campsite regulations. In cases of serious or repeated violations, the landlord has the right to terminate the contract without notice, unless a different written agreement has been made between the contracting parties. In the event of termination without notice, you are not entitled to a pro-rata refund or waiver of the fees incurred for the contractually agreed period; this also applies to the annual fee for permanent pitches.
- Visitors
Please register visitors (day and overnight guests) at reception. The visitor fee can be found in the current price list. Please inform your guests about the campsite rules. Visitors must park their vehicles in a parking area outside the campsite.
- Liability
Each guest agrees to treat the pitch and the campsite facilities with care. The renter is liable for any damage to the campsite's facilities or equipment if caused by them, their travel companions, or visitors.
- Arrival and departure
The pitch/sleeping barrel/mountain hut/treehouse is available from 15:00 PM on the day of arrival (earlier if available) and must be vacated by the day of departure at the latest.

- Severability
Should any part of these terms and conditions conflict with current or future law, the remaining agreement shall remain unaffected.
- Place of jurisdiction and place of performance
The exclusive place of jurisdiction and performance for both parties is agreed to be the respective competent local court at the registered office of Camping Resort Zugspitze GmbH and Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze GmbH.
